Goal: our own agency website — free of templates, visually inspiring, yet still delivering a flawless user experience. ## The Challenge With our own website, the goal wasn't to win an award, but to create a digital business card for our capabilities. Our intention was to build a site that shows a visually bold, animation-rich solution can also be lightning-fast and clear. ## The Solution We went for complete uniqueness, where every animation and layout supports the dynamics of the content. We built the technological foundation on Craft CMS, which gave us pixel-precise freedom and speed. **Custom design:** We avoided ready-made templates. Every interface was designed completely from scratch, to show the real potential of custom development. **Performance & UX:** The extra visual elements didn't slow the site down, and the unique design took nothing away from its clarity. **Unique content and case studies:** We didn't settle for ordinary screenshots. We present every project as a detailed case study, where expert content and visuals together tell the story of our collaboration. ## Result Two professional awards in the prestigious Hungarian competition "Website of the Year" (Az Év Honlapja). A 100% unique digital identity, built without templates. Fast loading even with complex visual elements. ## Judges' evaluation **Special award in the Services category:** **The jury's words:** "In the agency world, it's a common trap that developing your own website ends up at the bottom of the priority list — you know how it goes, 'the shoemaker's children go barefoot.' The Cstudios team, however, proved that this rule doesn't apply to them. :) They deliberately broke away from templated solutions — which, for a company specializing in unique web development, isn't just brave, it's practically a basic requirement. The creative, experimental visual direction didn't come at the expense of usability; they managed to find that delicate balance between design and function that many search for in vain. In every detail, the site reflects technical precision and professionalism. But what truly won over the jury's hearts was one small, yet all the more brilliant, easter egg: their 404 error page isn't a source of frustration but a nostalgic trip back in time. Seeing the built-in "wall breaker" game (tennis with a ball) built into it, we admit we got completely absorbed and for a moment forgot we were there as the jury. We instantly felt that playful yet highly professional approach that characterizes this team. For creativity, technical confidence, and great humor, we award the Cstudios website the Special Prize in the Services category. P.S.: Somewhere in the distance, an old VideoTon TV set just shed a tear of emotion..." **B2B Special Award:** "The Cstudios site holds to the principle of 'show, don't tell,' and in practice demonstrates what a team of professionals can achieve when given creative freedom. The design is unique and bold, yet maintains the right balance with exemplary confidence: the experimental visual solutions never come at the cost of usability, keeping the UX stable. Content free of unnecessary filler, combined with technical precision, proves that even in the B2B sector there's room for uniqueness and a digital presence at an artistic level." ## Conclusion We didn't do this for the award. That makes the recognition from industry professionals for an approach that doesn't rely on templates all the more rewarding.
