So the website couldn't be just an ordinary product catalog. The goal was to create a digital platform that clearly explains each solution, helps customers choose the right product, and also enables convenient online purchasing. ## The Challenge HORION's portfolio includes technically complex products used in various environments — from businesses to schools to conference rooms. The main challenges were: - organizing products and solutions clearly - explaining their use to a less technical audience as well - maintaining fast orientation across the site - ensuring a simple purchase process without unnecessary steps Full usability on mobile devices was also an important requirement, since a large share of traffic comes from there today. ## The Solution We designed a clean, functional layout that supports the content without distracting from it. The UX was built on clear logic: first understand the solution, then the product, and finally the purchase. The site runs on Craft CMS, which provides flexible content management, and on our own YUI e-commerce module, giving the client full control over products, prices, and orders. Both the design and site structure were custom-built — no templates — with an emphasis on clarity, speed, and long-term scalability. ## How the project was carried out We delivered the project end-to-end: - information architecture and UX design - website design tailored to the technical portfolio - programming and implementation of the e-commerce solution - populating content and product sections - optimization for both desktop and mobile devices The whole process was carried out in close collaboration with the client, so the result would accurately reflect the real needs of the market. ## Result The result is a modern e-commerce site that: - simplifies navigation through a complex product portfolio - supports both online sales and inquiries - runs fast and reliably on all devices - allows for easy management and further development without technical limitations HORION now has a digital platform that supports both sales and brand communication in a single solution. This project, [horion.sk](http://horion.sk), is proof that even technically demanding products can be presented clearly and in a user-friendly way. The combination of thoughtful UX, custom design, and stable technology created a foundation ready to grow alongside the client's business. ![](/assets/images/tablet.png) - [ ![](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1080quality/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.09.png) ](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1920/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.09.png) - [ ![](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1080quality/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.22.png) ](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1920/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.22.png) - [ ![](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1080quality/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.39.png) ](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1920/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.39.png) - [ ![](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1080quality/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.54.png) ](https://cstudios.sk//uploads/images/_transforms/case-studies/horion/_w1920/Screenshot-2026-01-19-at-14.42.54.png) [ Price Offer Price Offer ](https://cstudios.digital/price-offer)
